I have been working on the video essay assignment, and Jim is right when he says that it is very time extensive! So for those that have not started it, I really recommend that you guys get on it. I just wanted to blog about my progress so far. It has been going good, just taking a while at some points because I am using these programs for the first time. I used Mpeg Streamclip to trim the movie and I found this very easy to do! Then I used K-lite code c pack to convert my video to AVI(divx) video, on the highest quality. After that, I imported the file into Windows Movie Maker. Now, I am working on the commentary! The tutorials on the ds106 website are very helpful too!
