So my idea to do a dance remix of songs, was not working out so well. I tried to put together many different songs, but it wasn’t flowing as well as I had hoped! Especially after I listened to this mashup, it was very well done! I really like how the video and the song go together very well and show the artist that is singing at the moment.

Anyways, I thought of a different idea, which is to take a movie and record another movie’s sound over that. I am working on it right now and it is working out, so I hope it turns out good!

One of my favorite movie mashups was one that Jim Groom posted on the assignment page. It is Kevin Cherniawski’s “The Expendable Rangers- Recut”. I embedded the video below. The reason I really like this is because Power Rangers was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, and it brings back memories. Also, the creation of this mashup is done very well. I love how the voices match so perfect with the Power Rangers movie. It is very well done!
