Hi everyone, this is my first blog!!!! My name is Kayla. I’m a student at York, majoring in communications technology. Let me tell you guys a little bit about myself. I am Christian. I’m also a tech geek, constantly looking up new tech. I’m also a singer. I love to read; I am a major bookworm/ fantasy lover.  When I get really into a book I tend to block everything else out and get myself into awkward situations. I learned that the hard way.  One day, when I was junior in high school I was eating lunch with my friends. I was reading a really good book and eating at the same time. My friend Cally asked me, “What’s up?” I responded saying “nothing much”.  She started laughing along with everyone else at the table; I look up confused asking her why everyone is laughing.  She said she had asked me “what time is it?” and that I responded nothing much instead of telling her the time. I got red in the face and told her that I thought she had said “what’s up?” From that day my friends would tease me about my mess up, and I learned to make sure what the question was.
