After searching through several themes on the WordPress website I finally found one that I liked. I then proceeded to watch a video and how to download it. After figuring out how to download it I found that I was unable to edit many parts of the theme. Frustrated I decided to just choose a theme, this time directly from the theme tab on the wp-amdin page. I took some time to play around with the features and customize it to my liking. I then proceeded to download the plugins suggested in Assignment 2. Most of them were pretty straight forward to install. For some however I had to resort to looking up videos and tutorials online. Although I am still not 100% sure what some of these plugins do, I have fiddled with them and figured out the basics. Google Analytics showed me that I had 7 views today, the majority of which were probably all me checking to see if my site looked correctly. Overall the process was not too difficult, but like always I found myself feeling very discouraged at the beginning. If nothing else, today I learned that with all the people posting help videos and blogs on the internet it is almost always possible to find someone who has gone through the exact same thing you are and willing to give you help.
