On Thursday, February 2 Section 1 of ds106 had a visit from Bryan Alexander via Google Hangout for a conversation about web storytelling.

Bryan is a senior fellow at the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) where he researches, writes, and speaks about emerging trends in the integration of inquiry, pedagogy, and technology and their potential application to liberal arts contexts.

He has had a long running interest in the forms of storytelling made possible via the web, and is the author of The New Digital Storytelling: Creating Narratives with New Media.

Chapter 4 from this book is part of the readings for this week’s assignments. You can find a resoruce rich companion web site for Bryan’s book at http://newdigitalstorytelling.net/.
