My roommate has a lamp in the room that can twist in all sorts of directions and you can change out the color to suit your room. That lamp has always been inspiring because it’s so different so I decided to use that as my defamiliarizing object.

For this assignment I had a hard time choosing exactly what I wanted to pick, because there are so many possibilities but I went with something that has always been interesting to me. In order to get different views of my object to make it look abstract I took shots at different angles. I played with the lighting, such as turning the lamp on and the lights off and I moved and twisted the lamp in different ways. After that i uploaded my pictures to my media library via my blog and posted into my post.
