Helpful (hopefully) Videos for Week 4

We are in the middle of week 4 and I am seeing fantastic efforts in the Daily Create tasks and the Visual Assignments (kudos to Briana for creating her own one on Comic Book Effect).

Class materials for this week are at http://106tricks.net/2012/02/06/week-4-on-photography-class-materials/

Below are a few videos from this week’s activity. On Tuesday, I sat in on the other section of ds106, which having online students, regularly streams their sessions via http://dtlttoday.com/live. I repeated the talk o photography I did on Monday in our class:

In Wednesday’s class, we had a guest experience by D’Arcy Norman, live from Calgary, Alberta, who shared his perspective on photography, and offered practical suggestions for things to try with your camera (any camera).

(video in process, to be added here shortly)

You can find an archive of all videos related to ds106 at http://ds106.us/category/twid/, including a MOnday preview and Friday recap summary of what is happening across the classes and networks.

If you are looking to learn GIMP, YouTube is among your friends– I found this one shared by @andessurvivor on How to Comic Book a Picture (bear with the robotic voice, it is well explained)

Keep up the pace!
