No, seriously what is is?

Before this semester I had only heard this term thrown around once- in a spanish class. I didn’t know what was going on and so I ignored it. Then it popped up in this class- there was no running away from it. Web 2.0 is what I am doing right now. It is putting content out into the world that is responding to something. Hopefully, this will reach someone, and they will want to create a response to it as well.

Instead of having the Internet only as a resource, it has now become the host to the entire creative process. The best part of Web 2.0 in my opinion, is that  there will always be an audience, willing to respond to whatever you create. Stop asking ” who would ever watch what I tape” and just do it. You’d be surprised.

For the ds106 assignment I made a mix book of my Web 2.0 journey. It was a super simple process. Mixbook.com is a service that will actually make the books that you create! To make it you choose the type of book you want and then play around. You can upload pictures and place them where ever you want. I decided to use what they provided and I didn’t even scratch the surface. Here is the finished product:
