Iconic You (2 Stars) : This is the work I’m most proud of this week. It really represents me. It wasn’t hard to do, and I got the most comments on this one.
One Story, Four Icons (3 Stars) : I enjoyed this assignment. The correct answer was The Count of Monte Cristo (which everyone should read). I was pleased that someone guessed the correct answer.
The Big Hip Hop (2 Stars): This was a very simple assignment, but I like how it came out. I like typography, so I always enjoy playing with the different fonts on each of my pictures.
Minimalist Movie Poster (3 Stars): I chose to do one of favorite movies, which actually does the book justice, To Kill a Mockingbird. I like how this came out, but I wish I would have put the mockingbird more right of center. I had to use the clone tool (which took forever) and I didn’t realize how close it would be until I put the text it. Overall, I still liked this assignment and my poster.
Place I’ve Never Been (2 Stars) : This is my second favorite design assignment. As you can tell from my previous posts, I really like travel. I made this at the end of the week, and I was kind of burnt out. It took me a while to figure out what I was going to do for this assignment, so I just started playing around, and it ended up working out, I think. I did play with the font a lot of this one, I think I chose an effective one.
Minimalize Your Philosophy (2 Stars): As you can also see from my previous posts, I love lit. I have a lot of philosophies, so I had to choose one. I wasn’t sure whether or not the tree was going to be effective or not but I think it was. I really like the effect that came out on this.
I enjoyed doing a lot of these assignments, but this week was a lot of work!
