If Movie Posters Told The Truth

This assignment, “If Movie Posters Told The Truth” by NoiseProfessor, involves editing a movie poster to display a caption that better represents what the movie is about. I chose to edit the poster of one of my favorite movie, Man On Fire. The movie is about a personal security guard (Denzel Washington) who protects a young girl of a rich family (Dakota Fanning). Denzel Washington is my favorite actor of all time, and this is one of his best performances in my opinion.

To make this poster, I found the original on Google and used GIMP to edit it. I used the smudging tool to erase the movie title and then used the text function to insert my caption. The smudging tool is an excellent method of erasing aspects of a photo, but you have to be careful not to ruin the definition of the photo.
