The Making Of

So on Monday, our group came up with a few ideas for our project and they all eventually evolved into one idea. Our first idea was to do a radio show that just gave advice to “callers” that needed advice. Our second idea then was to take recordings from celebrity interviews and record over the part of the interviewer so it sounded like they were answering to our own questions. Then our final idea was inspired by the Drunk History series on youtube.

The Drunk History channel on youtube gets a person drunk and then tells them to tell a historical event. While they are telling their story, actors such as Will Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel, Michael Cera, Danny McBride and Jack Black act out the story and lip sync to the person who is telling the story. So our idea for the channel was to give drunk advice to people who need advice.

We all got together on Monday night and started the festivities. We had a couple computers recording through the whole process so we could get some content for the documentary of the show. We grabbed most of our questions from the family and relationship category on yahoo answers, and you can find some pretty outrageous questions that people ask. We plan to meet this Thursday night to put together the whole radio broadcast. Hopefully we have enough good material that we can use to make this show the best :)
