Assignment Prep: Return to the Silent Era

I would change the trailer for 21 by Robert Luketic.

It would be b&w and have floating text/cards. The music would be a mellow jazz tune.

At the beginning text would appear as “How much?” and then a card with the equation would be shown before and after Jim Sturgess talks.

(0:34) Next, would be text that said, “I just like math” after Jim starts speaking again.

(0:43) Jim says something on camera, then text appears that says,  “Hey, what’s going on?” And after the shot flipped to the students text would appear that said, “We like money.” and the music would change to a more playful, yet menacing jazzy bar tune.

Then it would cut to 1:09 in the casino and when it got to the guy punching him, another text box would appear right before the punch that said, “Counting Cards huh?”.

At the end when Jim is on a bed with money raining down on him and final text slide would show that read, “How will he ever escape the lust for power and wealth? Perhaps a short dissonant orchestral burst could sound here as well.
