Silent anime

I’ve actually been looking into some of these video assignments since spring break, and one that peaked my interest most of all was the Return to the Silent Era assignment. Now of course there has been silent film cartoons before but as far as I know there hasn’t been any silent film anime. In anticipation for this project I looked through the multiple anime series I’ve seen and decided it should be something simple (sorry no black and white quietly exploding robots). So I went with some classic sketch comedy from the very funny series Kill me baby!

The show follows the everyday hijinks of a high school girl named Yasuna Oribe and her cold assassin friend Sonya. The episodes are divided into quick comedic sketches which any viewer could follow without knowing pre-established plot details.
