As I mentioned before, I have been looking over the video assignments for a few weeks now and another project that caught my attention was the kinetic typography. These look like a lot of fun to make but so far while actually trying to do the project myself I’ve hit some snags. It just goes to show you even something that looks as simple as making words move is way more complicated than it appears.

However if I do manage to figure out how exactly to do this assignment I plan to make some well known anime speeches come to life. This being one piece I would like to animate:

While looking into kinetic typography I’ve seen videos of people making quotes into pictures which I would love to try and do; like taking the above speech and turn it into a sword or another recognizable symbol from the series. But so far I have had little luck in achieving this, maybe I’ll figure it out the following week though.
