Tip of the Week:Dont be afraid to eat, just eat right.

Welcome all my Fitness Followers,
Are you ready for your summer bod? To learn how to stay healthy and feel good about yourself? How about learning really simple ways to work out in and out of the gym> Then WELCOME!
This week is going to be our warm up week where we just start to get our bodies ready for the weeks to come. I recommend everyone starting out easy, such as trying to run 2-3 miles easily by the end of the week. If you can already do this, good for you, then run 2-3 miles everyday this week. The weather has been beautiful so NO EXCUSES! :) For some, you can probably already do this, for others you may think im nuts if that starting out easy, but believe me, if i can do it, you can do it. I hate cardio, it bores me and its hard for me to stay focused but I find if i start out little by little its easier.
Run everyday, and make it a habit to only start to walk when you really can not run anymore. Thats going to help your cardiovascular strength and make it ten times easier to keep going. I also find it easier when i am running or working out with a partner. It’s easier for me to not stop because they haven’t stopped and its a lot easier to not be so bored. I usually work out with either my mom (who pushes me and i get a better work out), my good friend Molly (who makes it fun) or Pockets (he’s just an awesome running buddy).
Also this is the week you need to start weaning yourself off the junk. I know it can be hard for college students especially when we don’t have many options, but try. You don’t need to starve yourself either. I recommend 3 big meals a day, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and three snacks a day so 6 eating opportunities. when you start to work out more, your body needs more nutrients so eating will only benefit you, just make sure you stay away from the sugar, fast food and junkie snacks. Stick with fruits, veggies, peanut butter, cheese sticks and proteins.

Last but not least you need to warm up and cool down before your exercises. This is going to help you not feel so sore the next day as well as your flexibility and over all wellness. You don’t want to hurt yourself do you?

Dont worry i will be giving yu plenty of warm up, cool down, work out routines, acceptable meals and snacks and tips during these next few weeks. Maybe you wont get it down right away but at least take away tips to make your own healthy lifestyle from this blog and most important ENJOY!!!
