This assignment was probably the best one I did this week. Last week I had decided on using the True Grit trailer and turning it into a silent, old-fashioned movie. But since that was already being done, I decided to use Cinderella Man, which as you might have guessed from the other assignments, is also one of my favorite movies. To make this clip I used Windows Movie Maker 2.6 (not to be confused with Windows Live Movie Maker). WMM had more effects to use than WLMM, and also made adding captions extremely easy. The music was pulled off of the soundtrack on youtube and the movie reel sound was taken from Freesound.org. I don’t think this comes anywhere close to the original, but still makes me want to see the movie for probably the 6th time:
