Just wrapped up my last video assignment!!!!!!!! This is the “Serenity Now!” assignment (which is worth 3 stars). I chose to do this one because of the title. I judged an assignment by its title, and I’m not afraid to admit it. Seinfeld is quite possibly my favorite tv show ever; I can watch the same episodes over and over again and I still find them just as funny as I did the first time I watched them. For that reason alone, I looked in to what this assignment entailed.

Turns out, is was actually a neat little assignment! The prompt was to make a relaxation video.

To make this one, I first picked my theme…. which I think you will agree, was quite predictable of me. Rhody + the beach!! I found a video of waves and used that as my sound clip. Then I used some of my own photographs as well as some that I found on the interwebs. (I thought video of objects might be too overstimulating, so I decided still shots would be for the best.) I added the pictures to Movie Maker along with the sound and added the fade in and fade out transitions to each picture so that everything was nice and smooth and nothing is too jarring. Then I just added the title. It was actually quite simple!

A mid-morning nap is sounding pretty appealing right now….
