I think I have finally come up with an idea for my final project, although some aspects of it may be a little difficult for me.

I have recently been on a “Walking Dead” kick and have finished every episode except for the season 2 finale, since it wasn’t available on tubeplus.com. In case my readers don’t know what The Walking Dead is, it is a tv series featured around a group of survivors in an apocalyptic era. A man named Rick Grimes is pretty much thrown into the position of “leader” and forced to make life altering decisions for them. Later on in the series, some of the members start to question his decision making. This semi-uprising is led by his “best friend”, Shane Walsh, who seems to want to make the decisions.

I have always been more of a Rick fan, so that got me thinking. This fictional world is tore apart. There is no government, no actual rules; nothing left. What if they are successful in finding a safe haven and are able to bring the human popluation back? There would need to be someone in charge, a president of sorts.

This led me to my final project idea – an election campaign video for Rick.

I think this idea is completely do able, but there may be some complications:

1. I do not own the series on dvds, therefore I am forced to take scraps off the internet for footage.

2. I may need to find a new program, as Windows Live Movie Maker does not seem to be (in my opinion)  sufficient to make a professional looking campaign promo.
