For this awesome video assignment I chose to swede parts of The Hunger Games. I figured it would be good to do since I had kid cousins visiting. First, I decided what scenes we could actually do with who was available.  I had to change the cornucopia line from Hamage to Cinna and then made up the last two lines to represent the power of the capitol.  Then I recorded the same scene at different angles, but added some funny stuff. When Katniss is going for the cornucopia she has to decide between the bow and arrow and just grabbing a bag and going, but I threw a pretty cake in there.  Also, to make this video more swedey, the mutts that chase Peeta and Katniss have been reduced to a golden retriever puppy.  I had a hard time with the actors, because they couldn’t ..not smile, but I had a lot fun making the vid with them. After recording I edited it with iMovie in which I added sound effects and music. One problem is that I forgot to change the mic sensitivity in the first part so it’s hard to hear. It was hard to not add a bunch of effects in iMovie, but I figured I should use too little than too much.
