DS106 Radio: Get Yer Ears On!

Remix Assignment: DS106 Radio [Remixed]: Turn Up The Cheese

For this remix assignment, my job was to use one of the creations from the DS106 Radio visual assignment and turn up the cheese on it. I used cogdogblog’s DS106 Radio: Get Yer Ears On! as the pre-remix inspiration. To edit this, I started out with using MS Paint to get the comic sans font and insert the cheese graphic. This cheese was just not good enough. I then moved the photo into PicMonkey to give the visual some more flavor. I added an effect called focal zoom to give the illusion of sound blasting from the radio, then I inserted some brightly colored music note graphics to give it the final touches it needed.

This assignment had it’s challenges trying to come up with amateur design elements. I wanted the picture to be obviously annoying looking without going too overboard. I may have done that though. The cheese was not part of the design but I thought it made sense with the title of the remix assignment.
