If Movie Posters Could Tell The Truth (Remix)

My second remix assignment was taking the “If movie posters could tell the truth” and translating it into another language to change it’s meaning. It took me a while to decide on a movie that would be interesting enough to translate, but sure enough I found probably the best choice. Miracle is an amazing movie that tells the true story of one of the greatest moments in sports history when the USA hockey team beat Russia in the 1980 winter olympics. Not only is a good movie to watch, it is a perfect fit for this assignment due to the contrast in feelings about this movie between Americans and Russians. So I took the movie poster and changed it to reflect the Russian perspective of the film:

Translation for poster on the right (Top to Bottom):

-”From those stupid democrats out west”

-”If you watch this movie, you will be arrested”

-”DISASTER”

-”Embarrassing”
