This was a fun remix that required me to make an assignment really cheesy, in this case a ringtone assignment.  I chose to use one by erinrougeux because she used sounds rather than splicing a song.  It made for a more original work and gave me a bit more room for creativity.  With some of the other ringtones I wasn’t sure of what to add because they already had instruments and voice.  I decided that this one would work because I could cheese it up by rapping over top the of the track.

I used garageband and just recorded the ringtone as an audio track.  Then I recorded myself rapping over top of it(if you can even call it that…) After that I copied that track twice and added a different effect to each of them; one higher  pitched and one lower pitched.  Then I moved them around a bit so that they came in at different times.
