The wonderful world of Wall-Mart

We’ll I’m wasting no time in creating these assignments, let’s see how much longer I can keep these going back to back. For my second original assignment I have created the visual assignment: shopping adventure. For this assignment you need to take a picture of the most bizarre product available in the store and then write up a description of who you think might actually buy this item. So the next time you’re out buying food, clothes, or anything else keep your eyes peeled.

My example regrettably does not involve anime, I know don’t worry I plan to put myself in the corner for this injustice as soon as I’m done posting. Anyways I’ve still been waiting for quite awhile to use this photo for ds106 I actually took way back at the start of the semester anticipating it could be useful for a daily create, but I think this is a much better use for the photo don’t you?

Wow so who would want something that looks like they harvested a little Latina girl for a car seat? Well let’s not be too quick to judge now maybe this seat has a practical use after all. Imagine it, you’re a busy mother who has finished a long day of work, but oh no your day isn’t even half over yet. You still need to pick up your children from school, take them to soccer practice, and be home in time to cook dinner. But wouldn’t you know it your kids just won’t behave, they’re tired and hungry and won’t stop hitting each other. At this point you should say that’s it and break out the life-like Dora the explorer car seat. With your child safely nestled in her questionable cup holder arms a peaceful serenity will fall over them as they drift off to sleep; either that or they passed out from shock. Now your children too can experience Dora the Explorer’s passion for adventure, as they will no doubt be shouting “where are we going?!” the whole car ride.
