- So to start out the first weekly summary I am going to post the links to all of my sites. So here they are:

- I wasn’t really sure what to put on my new about page, but I decided to just go with the flow and attempt to explain myself…which apparently is more difficult than I thought it would be. It’s just a short blurb about things which are essential to being me
- I did my reflections on the media about art and where good ideas comes from on another post so I am also going to just link it here so I don’t repeat myself too much:

- I was so excited to make a new twitter account! I have had a personal twitter account for a year and have somewhat an addictions. I felt it was only proper to make a separate one for this class. More tweeting access for me
Shoutout to @cogdog and #ds106

- My thoughts about this first week are scrambled. It was an extreme amount of work, but still do-able. It was stressful considering this is a 100 level course and I am currently taking 3 other 400 level biology classes which I haven’t had as much work in yet (but I know it’s coming for me). Nothing seemed particularly hard. It was just figuring out all the quarks of the #ds106 world. As I trudged along through all the assignments we had and the 11384 websites (yes, I realize this is an exaggeration) I had to make a new account for, things started to make more sense to me and my mind started to take a break.
To put my feelings in pictures:
This is how I felt at the beginning of the week:
And this is how I feel now that I have completed everything:
- The daily create was a bit difficult for me. I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m camera shy..so creating a video for the first assignment was way out of my comfort zone. I’m really glad it was an interesting topic. It seemed simple, but I really like all of my keychains. They go EVERYWHERE with me so I really loved the task! I like the idea of the daily create. It gives me a break from the routine classwork I have and makes my brain think creatively and in ways it most often doesn’t get a chance to.
