Creative Commons appears to be a type of movement allowing editors, etc to build upon already published media that is fully copyrighted; changing from all-rights-reserves to some-rights-reserved. Becoming a part of  creative commons gives others that authority to elaborate on the work you have already completed.

I feel that, for this class, It wouldn’t make a difference if my copyright was ‘some-rights-reserved.’ College work is indifferent to me. However, In the work-force I would be completely opposed to the creative commons concept. I believe that, your work is your work, no one else’s. Ultimately, your work performance (completion of tasks) is assessed on a regular basis by your supervisor and you either get a raise or you don’t. When it comes for a supervisor to oversee your work, it is important that your review reflects your individual work.
