The three dailycreates that I did for this week included one in which I had to upload an image of a wide open space. I chose to use a picture I took while on a cruise because it brought back pleasant memories and clearly showed wide open space. The second dailycreate required us to take a picture of something spinning. I chose to use my colorful pencil case, which turned out to look pretty cool. The third and final daily create I did had me use my pillow pet, turts the turtle, as a hat. Below are the links to blogs for each dailycreate.

For ds106 this week we also had to research what creative commons was and how it influenced our blogs and how we share and gain information. Below is the link for the creative commons post.

Week two was full of a lot of new challenges…..one of which being create a gif. Which is where you take an image and make it appear as if its moving. I googled how to create one and was lead to a website, www.makeagif.com, where I created an account and started to think of what I wanted to do. The main difficulty I had was finding images that were similar to each other but with slight differences to make the picture appear as if its moving when the pictures are quickly rotated. I created a few various gifs to get a feel of what it looks like, I ended up choosing the harry potter themed gif to post to my blog. The link below takes you to the gif digital storytelling assignment.

It was nice once I had finished all of the new challenges that were assigned. The two assignment I liked best, which i have neglected to mention yet, include increasing the use of tags and customizing my blog. I liked adding more tags to my various blogs because it helped to organize them a little. The last thing I really liked doing was customizing my blog. I like the background image I have, I feel as if it brightens up my blog. I liked the general set up for my blog, so I left it the way it was, although I did watch the video and previewed other themes to make sure that this was the theme I wanted. The one thing i really liked adding was a calendar to the side panel of my blog, because like most people in this world….i never know what the date is….
Overall week 2, the last week of bootcamp was hectic but included dailycreates that were interestingly random, a challenging digital storytelling assignment and research on creative commons which help give me a slight realization of how information is handled on the internet.
