When I hear the word [storytelling] the first thought that comes to mind is bedtime… ~LyndseyLu

My Take on [digital]Storytelling

Romance, adventure, terror, endless love, knight in shining armor, evil villains, damsel in distress, compassion, fate. Storytelling is a way to express hope, quests for truth, morals, rational thinking and sometimes even irrational thinking. Storytelling enables us to escape from reality. Giving hopes and dreams a second chance. Stories can be told anywhere, anyplace, anytime; by many means such as, verbal, visual, and a combination of both. Placing the word [digital] in front of storytelling allows for a greater experience of that story; enabling it to in some cases come to life. Making a story digital brings a new level in what can be done to enhance the experience of the story for the listeners and viewers.

[digital]storytelling is on the rise because of the many tools available to everyone. People are becoming more and more involved with technology and all the while we are gaining more and more insight as to how to digitally connect with each other, for social and entertainment purposes.
