For the inspire assignment I chose the one of the couple’s picture infront of willard at mary washington.  I like it because i was able to instantly recognize where the picture was taken and I think it is clever taking a picture of a picture from a previous time lined up with the surroundings as if to portray a before and after picture.  It is special because the area brings back a lot of memories for the person taking the picture and myself.  The thing that makes it a digital story is that it incorporates various digital structures such as a photo inside a photo that greatly expand the meaning of the photo.  To me the arc of the story was the image inside the image, which is part of a larger story, that helped to expand the meaning of the overall picture.
