Hello Everyone,
It has been a long long week for me.
I lost internet service at my house and Comcast kept not showing up for the scheduled appointments which means that I cannot do my work (enough venting!)

Storytelling to me means to engage someones imagination and to deliver a tale that catches your listeners undivided attention. A great storyteller knows how to capture the audiences senses and have them clinging on to every word that rolls off their tongue. The image that pops into my mind is children sitting Indian-style in a circle, eyes wide, and not making a peep. I begin to smile when I think of storytelling because it reminds me of peaceful times and everyone coming together for the purpose of entertainment and laughter (or sometimes be frightened by a scary ghost filled story.) But nonetheless a great time that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Digital Storytelling to me means writing or recording a story so that others can view and engage in it. The world is so technologically advanced that our stories can reach millions with the click of a button. I think that digital storytelling is greater because it can reach a bigger audience that at one time was impossible. (You never know who needs to hear your story to change their life!!!!!)
