For week six in DS106, we were asked to do 4 daily creates, which are random quick assignments put up by other students.
For my first assignment, it was World Vegetarian Day, and I celebrated with a bunch of can goods I took a picture of. Instead of just blandly taking a picture of a fruit, or a can of vegetables, I stacked the cans up like a cheerleader group cheering on the day.
Next, I had to design my own typeface with my name. I desided to make a design with only triangles, which ended up getting difficult, but I managed. I took a photo of it, cropped it, and uploaded it to Flickr.
Then, I had an assignment where I had to draw the floor plans of my childhood house from memory. I took out my Sharpie, and started from the front door to the back, trying to remember the layout. I took a picture, cropped it, and again, uploaded it to Flickr.
Finally, for my fourth Daily Create, I was asked to express the idea of nothingness or emptiness. Relax, my dog is fine. It would be a really sad picture if I took a picture of an empty kennel and implied that it was empty for a reason though. But no, Glory is quite fine and annoying as usual.
