The first thing that came to my mind was Alvin and the Chipmunks.  I always wanted to know how they got them to sound like that and have always wanted to create this for myself.  I used the tool MIXXX to create this effect. I am not going to sit here and act like this was a breeze it was most certainly not.  It took me a very long time just to figure out how to even upload my song onto the tool and forget about immediately knowing how to use it.  I have to say overall it took me approximately 30 minutes to raise the pitch of the track. I had to make sure that I was using something that was appropriate with no cursing in it so I chose the new Mary J. Blige song Don’t Mind.
