This audio assignment was really fun to do! We had to take a song and change it somehow so that it sounded like chipmunks were singing it. I love assignments that involve music so, once again, I just shuffled through my iTunes library to find a song that I think would sound funny turned into a chipmunky kind of song.

So I chose to use “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee because it’s an upbeat song and has lots of energy. I found a video for this song on YouTube, converted it to an mp3 file using the Fastest YouTube Downloader, and imported it into Audacity. Next, I clicked the Effects tab, and went onto Change Pitch and just fiddled around with the pitches until I liked the sound it produced. Here it is!
