ADAAM show review along with my own show review.

I thought the ADAAM radio show was really well put together.  The volume was appropriate and not too loud or too quiet at times. The levels were generally even through out the show, minus the appropriate times when they would increase or decrease to set the mood. The show was clear of any unnecessary background noises and had great usage of background noises to aid in the transition from one thought to another, making the editing appear to be effective and clean. The sound effects that they used were rather well chosen.  They used what appeared to be sound clips from the original show, The Adams Family, to tie together their show and ideas.  The music they chose to use helped to add a dramatic effect when telling their stories, and the levels of the music elevating and lowering when the story line was changing. The structure of the show seemed well put together and was cohesive, there wasn’t any parts that seemed too out of place.  The story was effectively portrayed and drama conveyed throughout various points. If I had to give a rating to this show I would give them 4.7 stars out of 5!  The link to listen to the show is below…

The net radio show review, is of Adventures in DC, which was created by my group. The overall quality of the audio sound was ok, the volume was appropriate for some parts of the show, but the levels were off a little bit at other. The sound was clear of unneeded noises, and the background noises that were present helped to add to the scene that was trying to be portrayed. The quality of editing was pretty good and the transitions were generally smooth, there was one transition which the volumes didn’t level out properly so it wasn’t very smooth but the rest of the transitions went well. The use of sound effects was relatively well done, allowing for the listener to get a feel of the environment in which the character was in; the music did the same.  The shows general structure was well put together, I think the only part in which it was a little unstructured/not cohesive was when the character went into work and met the security guard. The story line I thought was over all effective, all though there wasn’t a lot of drama through out the show, I think it had good points where drama was conveyed.  If I had to give my show a stars rating, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.  The link to the show is below.
