For the final project I chose to continue with Finding Neemo. I have used this movie in various other ds106 assignments and decided what better way to end the class! This movie is definitely my all time favorite and I feel the material in it is very versatile and can translate into many different medias.

I decided to look through the assignment repository to get ideas on how to approach all of the categories. I came across the Mocking up a Newsweek assignment in the visual assignment category. I would like to do this assignment, but as a milk carton ad for Neemo! Since Neemo is missing,  Marlin (Neemo’s dad) figured a milk carton ad would be a perfect way to find him!

The next assignment is one using a web assignment. I want to do a craigslist ad for Neemo. People use craigslist to find all kinds of things today. So Marlin decided that this would also be a good option to help find his son.

Since Dory stuck by Marlin throughout the whole adventure, the postal service decided to dedicate a postal stamp to her! This assignment idea came from the design assignment ds106 goes postal.

The last thing Neemo does is to give a speech to all who helped find him and get him safely home. In this audio assignment Neemo thanks his father, Dory, Crush, Squirt, the blue whale, and Nigel along with various others and tells us how happy he is to be home.
