Daily Creates #5

Posted by

Here are the three daily creates I did for week 5:

February 11, 2013: Take a photo of someone other than you using your favorite type of technology.

Me and Taka on Photo Booth

Now, this daily create was a little ambiguous because of the wording. It could mean two different things: 1) take a picture of someoneĀ that is using a phone/laptop/video game console that you like or 2) take a picture of someone with your favorite type of technology (i.e. your iPhone, laptop, Photo Booth, poloraid camera, etc.) For this daily create, I went with the latter and took a picture of me and my boyfriend through one of my favorite photo-taking mediums Photo Booth. However, I chose to keep this photo in its purest form instead of messing with it since I actually liked the photo.

February 13, 2013: Take a picture of something new. Like shiny.

V-day gift

I definitely feel like I fulfilled all of the criteria for this daily create. The item I chose was both new (got it as a present for Valentine’s day) and shiny (look at those shiny stones!). Now, I normally don’t like using filters for photos, but I decided to test it out on this one to see what it would look like since I was uploading the photo from my iPhone. I kind of wish I chose a different filter since this one made the photo a little bit out of focus compared to its original, but I guess that’s what experimenting is about!

January 19, 2012: 1 Take Tongue Twister – Record the following tongue twister in one take.

For this daily create, I wanted to do something exciting, so I hit the randomize button and got this one. Man, was this hard! I think it might be from all of the presentations,Ā enunciating exercises, impromptu speeches, etc.Ā  I had to give in all of my Comm. courses, but I think I did a decent job. Here’s the tongue twister we had to recite on just one take:

Luke Luck likes lakes.
Lukeā€™s duck likes lakes.
Luke Luck licks lakes.
Luckā€™s duck licks lakes.
Duck takes licks in lakes Luke Luck likes.
Luke Luck takes licks in lakes duck likes.

Before you make fun of me, give it a try! It’s a lot harder than it looks, believe me!
