As I had valentine’s day dinner with my girlfriend, and she made the whole meal, I was in charge of dessert. By ‘in charge of dessert’, I mean i plopped a bunch of strawberries in chocolate. This was the first photo I took using the rule of thirds, and I am pretty satisfied with the result. I hope to improve my understanding of this rule in the future, now that I have the grid setting on my iphone.

Take a picture of something brand new. Like shiny.

I took a photo of my new money clip, as it is currently my shiniest possession. I tried snapping the photo at a bunch of different angles until I was satisfied with the result.

I think everyone can agree that the DMV is one of the most miserable places on planet earth. The endless lines, the ineptitude of their workers, etc. Anyway, this was the first thing that struck my mind when I thought of somewhere I don’t want to go back to.
