So I was so lucky to be nominated to be the member of the Fab 5 to write our group post (which is obviously quite an honor).  Here is a quick run down of what we’ve got planned for our radio show so far.

Logo-

So part of our assignments was for each of us to make a logo for our radio show group and then decided on one we wanted to use for our group. Here is what each of us came up with:

We decided to go with the one that I made.  We felt that it fit the Fab 5 theme well.

Theme and Format-

We then picked the theme for radio show.  We quickly came up with the idea to manipulate interviews of different celebrities and put them together.  Since we were coming up with something on our own, we checked with @cogdog to see if this was an okay idea.

Luckily he said yes and we were good to move on and figure out exactly how we were going to do this.  We decided that we would record ourselves asking questions to celebrities and then use audio clips of the celebrities from real interviews as the responses. We got this idea from the ds106 assignment Celebrity Radio Interview. Because of our theme we are using interview as our format.

The part that took us the longest was deciding which celebrities we wanted to use. After some debate, and a lot of Taylor Swift hating, we decided to do our show based on Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriends.  I’m not going to tell you exactly who we are “interviewing” now but I will tell you that our segment is going to called Serial Dater (I told you there was a lot of Taylor Swift hating going on).
