A Whatchamacallit**

Although this design assignment, found in the ds106 assignment bank, called to  Design Your Dream Animal, I wouldn’t necessarily say this animal is my dream one!  To create a new animal using at least four species, I used Picasa and Paint to create this whatchamacallit.

I began with a tiger’s body (which is my favourite animal!) and added a dolphin’s dorsal fin and a tiger shark’s tail.  For the head, I used a penguin to complete whatever animal this is!  I found the photos of the tiger, dolphin’s dorsal fin, shark’s tail, and penguin’s head all via Google.

To blend each body part together some, I used the retouch effect in Picasa.
