For this assignment, I choose to revamp a saying I saw on a bumper sticker when I was driving down to Radford, VA last summer. I thought the original would have been a little too vulgar for ds106 (it’s definitely rated at least PG13). Since this was my last design assignment, I decided to bite the bullet and try using GIMP. Not going to lie, I hate GIMP. Like a lot. I think I’m going to stick with my trusty ol’ Pixlr. Anyways, Since this was mainly just text, it wasn’t too too difficult. However, I did have trouble editing it and such. If I had more time to mess around with GIMP, I would have used a different font for the second half of the quote (maybe like an “angry” font and maybe in red, you know, to get people’s attention). But hey, I can’t be too picky, right? I’m just proud of myself for using GIMP without throwing my laptop out the window.
