So today I finished my ds106 radio bumper for the radio show! It didn’t take so long since I’ve had a significant amount of practice with audacity, and I’m fairly decent with it. For my sound bit, I downloaded the instrumental version of “Fine by Me” by Andy Grammar, and then my own voice on a separate recording. I’ve gotten significantly better with being confident around the mic, so I don’t have to deepen my voice like before. I tweeked it so that whenever I talked, the music got softer than immediately loud again once I was done. I also used the fade out method at the end so it didn’t just abruptly end. Here’s what I got from it.
