Here is my bumper for our twilight zone themed radio show. I used Audacity to create this bumper, and combined bits and pieces of the Twilight Zone theme with my voice. My first idea was to extract the quintessential repeating piano portion of the theme and repeat it throughout the bumper in the background. From there, I wanted to take a piece of the voice from the theme, and chose the quote, “You unlock this door with the key of imagination, beyond it is another dimension, a dimension of sound…”. I thought this was fitting as our team name is the ‘Fifth Dimension’. I then recorded myself speaking to top it all off. I layered the repeating piano noise behind the rest of the audio, and here is what I came up with!
