For this assignment I was inspired by Sam Webb of WTKA “Michigan Insider”, a sports talk radio show. I thought it would be funny to do the same type of radio show while taking “dating” questions from callers instead of sports. I put on my best radio personality and tried to answer the questions as the love guru “E Tizzle” would.

For music I used “Cosmic Background Radiation” by Surak. I had difficulty with Audacity when it came to importing the music file. Audacity would make me import the entire file every time instead of being able to copy and paste the previous samples I had already made. Other than this issue the only other major problem I had was trying to replicate the “phone call” sound. What I ended up doing was recording a voice memo on my phone and then playing it on speaker while recording on Audacity. Recording often took many takes. I found it was easier to record a couple lines at a time instead of trying to get it all on one take. Overall I was pleased with the end result. I think I was able to make it funny while providing some actual advice.
