One of the required assignments of this week was Storytelling Within The Web. As a computer science major, this assignment was very simple. I have experience using Firebug from a previous web development course I took, which was very helpful. I chose to edit a Craigslist page that was advertising the sale of a “Swivel Action Electronic Knife”, as pictured below.
After some quick editing with Firebug, I came up with this:
I put a lot of thought into what I would do to a Craigslist page. I wanted to maintain simplicity, but also tell a comedic story. I decided on selling a time machine, and from there I looked for the most ridiculous for sale item I could find in the Appliances section. Here is the live web page.
