This week has been a segway from Audio to Design. Similar to like every transition week I have my worries. First, I don’t know what the formal meaning of design is..Yes, this is awkward. Secondly, I have no idea how to use photo editing software. I’ve tried and I’ve tried but I suck. Not like the normal suck, but the this is sad suck. I’m in the generation of photo designing, where photoshopped pictures are cool and being able to use them are expected. Yet, I’m the outsider. Lost. Hopeless.
Well, let me back track about the audio section. This was one of my post anticipated sections. I really wanted to get my skills up in the audio area. I wanted to be able to make a DJ mix and try other things. While the DJ mix was one of the most difficult things of my life it was fun. While I can’t post the actual mix, because soundcloud tried to hold me back. I can say I’m impressed.
The next audio assignment was the Dating show portion. That was fun! I got to play around with Audacity again. While this time was a lil better, I’m still not comfortable with the software. I’ve even YouTubed Audacity help and have made minor improvements. My piece was a weather report. I tried to make it funny but that’s up to the viewer to decide.
Now back to design. I completed my two activities.
