Howdy ds106er’s!

Can you believe we’re at the final stretch before completing ds106? I still remember making my blog and ds106 accounts like it was yesterday!

Whew, anyways, although I had a really late start to this week, I actually enjoyed making videos a lot! Don’t get me wrong, it was a ton of work, but I felt like it was way more satisfying. I am pretty sure I’m going to try and make more videos in the future beyond this class.

So, here are the things we had to do this week:

16 Stars-Worth of Video Assignments

1. “Where are they now?” Assignment– 2 Stars
2. “A Day in Your Life” Assignment– 5 Stars -> Prob my favourite assignment by far!
3. “30 Second Documentary” Assignment– 3.5 Stars
4. “Watching Films with the Stereo On” Assignment– 4 Stars
5. “Make a Tutorial for Your Mom” Assignment– 5 Stars

Total Number of Stars= 19.5! I didn’t even realize I did that many! Haha, I guess you kind of forget when you’re having fun?

Bringing the Foley Assignment to Life

So, we had to revisit our Foley assignment and remake the audio portion of the video as well as add in a story element. Here’s what I came up with!

But yep, that’s all folks! I’m really excited to start my final project though. I’ve been thinking a little about which character/persona I wanted to be. Maybe Mulan? She is my Disney idol! But who knows, I have a few more days to figure it out.
