Okay, so I really did not know what to do for this assignment, just because I kept getting the weirdest remixes. But I finally landed on this one, which I kinda liked.
So, since it was kinda simple, I decided to make a funny little tutorial for this assignment. Here it is:
- Find a funny picture of someone you know. Think very carefully; maybe you have a crazy aunt in Kentucky, or a brother that loves to unicycle. The options are limitless. For me, my dad is the kooky bird of the nest. I found this really interesting photo from this random family trip we went on a year and a half ago:
- Next, use a photo editor to edit the photo. I like to stick with Pixlr because it’s super easy, and I don’t have to download anything. I decided to make it seem more old-school by making it sepia-toned. You can also go with black and white. Just change it up, so it looks old.
- Add in text that relates to voting/will persuade people to go out and vote. I decided to do something funny, and went with the “Dos Equis” guy approach. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, please go watch some T.V and educate yourself.
- Make sure to save it! If you don’t, you’re going to just hate yourself for a minute.

I wish I had a funnier picture that was actually related to voting to use… But hey, not everyone’s going to have a good submission for this assignment, right? Let me know if you do this remixed assignment! I would love to see what other people do (:
