Audio Brooo

My first audio assignment was reading from my favorite Dr. Seuss book “Are You My Mother?” I really enjoyed doing this project! But it was hard to find the whole text of the book without having an actual hard copy of it. So I ended up having to watch a YouTube video of someone reading it, type it up, then read that out. 3/10

My second audio assignment was Mainstream Chipmunkd. For this one, we had to take a mainstream song and turn into a “chipmunk’d” version of itself by either changing pitch, changing tempo, or by changing something else. I chose to use “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee and I think it turned out sounding pretty funny! 6/10

Recycled

I recycled four different media files and uploaded those to the phonar dropbox. I’m curious as to how/where they will come up later in the semester and how we will have to use them! Only time will tell

Daily Creates

The Daily Creates these past two weeks were pretty cool! There was definitely a lot of mix-up of photo, audio, and video in there and that was really fun to pick and choose which ones I wanted to complete. I was happy I got to use a picture of my best friend Julie and I for one of them though

Radio Roadtrip Reflection

This was a very different and unique group project. I’ve definitely never done anything like this before so it was a little awkward at first adjusting to the fact that it was a completely online class and so the project would be basically done all online. But once all of our members started posting in our GoogleDoc and collaborating there, everything was smooth sailing!
