Regarding the graphic novel I was not very impressed, though to be fair this almost certainly has more to do with my tastes than anything else. The same holds true for the related videos. What Ira Glass said seemed very generic to me and could have been summed up very effectively in five minutes or less.
“Radio” was decent. I did not find it compelling. Although the graphic novel format probably made it more accessible and enjoyable it also was less clear. Clarity is best achieved using crisp prose. Then again the goal was probably to reach out to more individuals and give them insight into the functioning of a radio station.
