I thought that last week we went over ideas for our final project, but as I am missing a grade for another ideas post, here is my post for my ideas. I evolved my idea on pirates and Christmas from one considering using suburban Christmas pirates in Fredericksburg, to one with greater potential. In my new idea, I used Santa in an attempt to further reflect on the boundaries of what is copyright and what is not. Furthermore, I used the lovable character as someone who could be accused of copyright misdeeds to incite a reaction to see if people would defend Santa or incriminate him as a pirating buffoon.
