Common Everyday Object: 2 stars

The first thing I thought of when looking to do this assignment was power cords and chargers because they seem to be running my life.  They are everywhere and I trip on them and untangle them constantly.  However cords are what was used in the example so I thought I better go with something else.  After thinking about it for a while I chose to go with pens and bobby pins.  I USE BOTH EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I started arranging them and setting them up, but I did not like what I came up with.  Finally I just picked them all up and then tossed them down, I mean this is what they usually look like when I go to get them so why not?  After that I loaded my picture into picasa3 and started changing the light exposure and tone.

This picture represents my life or more specifically my desk.  I like that I was able to twist the common everyday into something new and creative just by changing the light and color tones.
